Comments: We came far today: starting from a moment of panic when it looked
like we weren't going to have enough people to play, and moving towards
being a team to contend with. We didn't quite make it, but we may have if
we had gotten to play the second game. We all played out of position -- I
actually made a catch in right field -- woohoo! Catherine, a sub player,
played well at second base, making a catch of her own, and Thomas also
made mighty catches while playing first base.

BONUS SECTION
Pickup game 1: Rocky Horror
After forfeiting the second game of the day, a few people came over to our
field and asked if anyone wanted to play. Several of us piped up, and I
went along to watch and cheer. That got very cold after a while, so to
give myself a sense of purpose and a reason to pace back and forth, I
started keeping stats.
These aren't official stats -- they're not counted in the totals on the
front page. They are interesting however -- they speak for themselves.
R RBI Notes
Thomas 2-2 3 BB
Erin 2-2 1 1 FBB, 2b <-- Woohoo!
Rod 3-3 2 2b
Thus it was that our three players helped this other team score 12
runs against Rocky Horror!
Pickup game 2: That team we almost beat last week
This time *I* got sucked into playing, as did Bison, who had dropped by
to watch. I got to play first base -- woohoo! We did okay - even Bison,
who said he hadn't played a softball game in years. Ha.
There were people in between us in the batting order -- I only kept
stats for our people.
R RBI Notes
Thomas 0-1 1 BB
Rod 1-2 3b
Erin 1-2
Bison 1-2
Heather 0-0 BB
