Game 9 - 10/7/98

(4-17 loss to Jets)

COMMENTS: What a doozy. We had to find a girl to pick up since we had one out sick; we found Shelley at the last possible minute and all was well. We started off okay, with good offense and defense, but we just had one bad inning. The Jets made some great defensive plays, too, robbing us of extra bases on more than one occasion. Still, we generally played tight - BJ pitched well, Ron played great shortstop, and almost everyone had at least one good play.
